My healing journey began here….

I spent a great deal of my life anxious, overwhelmed, and unhappy. Of course, there were great moments like my university days, exploring the world through travel, the birth of both of my amazing daughters (now 26 and 24 years old).

However, many of the joyous moments had an underlying free flow of anxiety, where everything in my life had to be perfect, just right. I needed to be in control! I was plagued with the emotional syndrome: “I am not good enough”, “I am not worthy or deserving”, “If I could just be perfect, then my life would be perfect”.

The external validation I strived for with material things, successful businesses, looking good left me feeling momentarily elated, then, like a sugar crash, I would emotionally crash and be back to “I’m not good enough” …

In our society we are more rewarded for what we do then who we are as a person.

Then life came to a head, and I realized, at the age of 42, I just couldn’t carry the weight of self-perfection any longer and I crumbled. My journey began at Landmark Education (everyone needs to start somewhere).

It had such a profound effect on me – in Coles notes fashion, I learned that my perspective was the issue, not my beingness. I was perfectly whole and loved as I was, I just couldn’t see it or feel it.

I started working with an energy healer (that was a wild stretch for me as I didn’t believe in any woo-woo stuff) and my healing deepened at a heart and soul level. My childhood trauma was rising to the surface to be healed. Not easy work!

I continued working with various energy healers, practitioners of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT- tapping), which I am on the path to being certified.

Fast forward to age 52 and I embarked on a plant medicine retreat in Costa Rica – Ayahuasca.

It was the ultimate game changer for me.

Because of plant medicine, my whole life expanded, I let go of things and people that no longer served me. I was just…happier.

I returned to Costa Rica several times exploring the country and my own inner world with the help of plant medicines.

I knew that someday soon I would live in Costa Rica and work with the plants.

I closed my successful business coaching business down, the pandemic hit (which was an amazing time of self-reflection) asking and answering:

What do I REALLY want to do with my life (and who do I want to BE while doing)?

I moved to Costa Rica in August 2021!

Switching gears, I trained in plant medicine guiding and psychedelic integration coaching. Crazy I know!

When you are in alignment things just happen with easy and flow – I never had ease and flow in my life. Ever!

I now hold retreats and work privately with folks to help them face their shadows and arise perfectly whole and loved just as they are.

Helping them heal their childhood wounds and guiding them to ask and answer wholeheartedly –what do I want for my life?

You see, you need to be ready to face yourself – all of you – the light, the dark, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Self-discovery is the first step to seeing your light, how it was dimmed (by others and self) and how to turn it on again.

Once you can see the true you, underneath the trash life dumped on you, you will emerge with a self -acceptance – which is the precursor to self-adoration and self-love.
